In the morning , you fire up your laptop. At home or at our office in Skopje, Struga , or Prishtina. You decide.
You join the daily Stand-up with colleagues from the Netherlands. Short, sharp, and without any corporate fuss.
Then you delve into a complex platform that serves as a central link between systems, databases, and external applications. Not a simple application, but software where architecture, performance, and stability converge.
Optimize a connection. Make an API smarter. Identify a bottleneck. You’ll quickly see where the gains lie.
In between, you’ll brainstorm with teammates about technical choices. Not because you have to, but because good solutions emerge from constructive discussions.

What are you going to build?
Through OrangeMelons, you will work for our client on a business-critical platform within a technically mature environment.
In concrete terms this means:
- Developing and maintaining a PHP Symfony core system
- Working on API connections and integrations with external systems
- Building middleware functionalities
- Improving performance, stability and scalability
- Participate in thinking about technical choices and further development of the platform
- Collaborate with maintenance and cloud teams
- Developing functional domain knowledge. There’s plenty of room for growth.
This is a role for developers who are energized by content and complexity.
Your playground: PHP, integrations & performance
You work in an environment with, among other things:
- Backend: PHP ( Symfony )
- Databases: MariaDB , PostgreSQL
- Messaging: RabbitMQ
- Platform: Linux
- Integrations: API platform, SSO solutions
- Other landscape:
- .JUST Core on Linux
- Backend in .NET & Blazor
- Native iOS & Android apps
- Vue (Office sync with SPIN)

Who are you?
You are not a developer who just checks off tickets.
- You have experience with PHP and Symfony . The aforementioned tech stack perfectly matches your knowledge and expertise.
- You have an excellent command of the English language
