For one of our clients, a well-established Dutch software company, we’re looking for two experienced full stack developers. Their platform helps manufacturing companies run their entire technical service department; notifications, work orders, planned maintenance, scheduling, and time registration. All in one place.
The in-house team is fully occupied with day-to-day priorities. There’s simply no room left for new features. That’s where you come in. To build a new, AI-driven layer on top of the existing platform.
This isn’t a “grab a ticket and move on” role. You’ll be joining a mature, production-grade platform on Azure, working alongside a team that’s genuinely happy to have you on board. You’re not looking for handholding; you’re
looking for impact: designing and building a Private AI environment from the ground up.
What you’ll be building
- Building a Private AI environment within
Azure; Azure OpenAI
Service, RAG via Azure AI Search, Bicep
templates and MCP servers
- Connecting that
environment to the
existing platform (ASP.NET Core, C#, SQL Server, Blazor/PWA),
reusing existing code
and factories wherever possible instead of a direct database connection
- Backend (.NET/C#) and
frontend/PWA (Blazor) features for asset management and work
orders
- Database funnels,
Azure SQL Server indexing, and
the REST API interfaces to support
it
- Concrete functionality
per sprint, working
directly under
Jeroen’s guidance
Tech stack
- C#, ASP.NET Core, Blazor
- Azure (Container Apps, Bicep, Resource Groups, OpenAI Service, AI Search)
- SQL Server
- REST APIs
- Nice to have: RAG/MCP knowledge, DevOps (repositories, hosting & management)
Who you are
- You have 5+ years of experience with C# & ASP.NET, both front- and backend
- You know Azure inside and out, including OpenAI Service and AI Search
- Database performance isn’t an afterthought for you — it’s a craft in itself
- You think in DevOps terms: from repo to deployment, you feel responsible for the whole chain
- You’re independent enough to move quickly through an existing codebase without needing someone next to you
- You understand that software which helps prevent breakdowns has an impact that reaches beyond the codebase
- You have excellent command of English
- You ask questions and want to understand how things really work
- You enjoy collaborating with other engineers
- You actively bring improvement ideas to the table
